Connecticut Health Center seeks to make novel and significant contributions to both basic science and human health in areas that run the gamut from molecular structure, through cell and
organ biology, to the health of human populations. We have many strong, established research programs, as well as a number of exciting new research initiatives, such as the program in
human embryonic stem cell research. Turning information into knowledge that can ultimately be used for the benefit of humanity is at the core of our mission in graduate education. We
consider graduate students to be integral members of the research community, making valuable intellectual contributions to the mission and intellectual life of the Health Center. In
addition, we offer a collegial and safe environment with easy access to a wide range of recreational opportunities.
