Graduate Student Research Day
What Is Graduate Student Research Day?
Once a year, the Graduate Student Organization (GSO) holds an
event on the UConn Health Center campus called Graduate Student
Research Day (GSRD). GSRD is a forum for the students in the
graduate school to present their research (from lab rotation or
thesis projects) orally or through poster presentations.
At the end of the day, there is a keynote address by an
invited speaker.
Our guest speaker for 2009 will be Dr. Freda Miller, senior
scientist in the Department of Developmental Biology at the
Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and professor at the
University of Toronto.
This year, GSRD will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009.
